The "BY THE FIRE: Wild and Wise" project is more than just a leisure activity; it is a systematic program of socio-psychological support where trust, safety, and healthy communication serve as tools for raising future leaders. We take a firm stand against violence and teach adolescents how to transform hidden aggression into open dialogue and personal growth.
Through a curated socio-cultural program, outdoor quests, and heartfelt conversations by the fire, we create a space where teenagers learn to project their values into the world with confidence. For children to grow into happy and resilient adults, we must nurture them meaningfully today. Your contribution funds a safe environment, professional psychological support, and educational materials that will help teenagers find their footing in an unstable world.
In Ukraine, the tradition of orphanages or nursing homes is far from our cultural values — we are used to caring for our own. However, in our work with foster families, we daily encounter elderly people who need help themselves yet give their last ounce of strength to raise their grandchildren. Between them and the children lies a vast psychological and technological divide, widened by modern crises and the chronic stress of war.
The "Socio-Psychological Support for Elderly Caregivers" project was created to bridge these two worlds: the grandmother and the grandchild. We are launching a cycle of psychological support groups and socio-cultural events to help senior guardians adapt to change and find inner resilience. By supporting this project, you fund professional mentoring that protects families from burnout and grants children a peaceful childhood alongside their loved ones.
Our social work experience proves that sometimes a kind word or a social service is simply not enough when a family is on the brink of survival. We operate on the principle of real justice — providing help where the need is most urgent right now. For one family, this means providing essential groceries; for another, repairing hazardous living conditions; and for a third, funding professional courses that enable them to find employment and escape the cycle of crisis.
We do not just identify problems; we solve them through action. The funds from this foundation are strictly directed toward targeted, verified assistance, personally vetted by our social workers on the ground.
